1st June - The 1975

And The 1975 have disappeared into oblivion with this tweet on twitter:

For what I can comprehend from this cryptic post, is that it is all about a CHANGE.
The band's undergoing a transformation or  transfiguration as Matty would call it.

It's a change, maybe in terms of their ideology, style and music (hopefully not the latter, I love it the way it is for now).

The comic strip covers the fanbase's reaction, which so far has been quite accurate.

The old Matty, dressed in black, a colour symbolizing mystery, defines one as a cold, pale, intricate person. However, that's the "Old Matty".
The "New Matty" is all drenched in the colour Pink.

Pink, the universal colour to love oneself as well as others.
The colour that represents affection, warmth and compassion.
(Even Matty Healy's Twitter Account's Header And Icon Was The Colour Pink For A Long Time)

The 1975 may no longer be the dark grunge band, we all fell in love with.
Maybe it was time for them to change, change their perspective due to various events and happenings around the world that must have have influenced their new music too. (I'm a 1000% percent confident, they're releasing a new album)

Cleverly summing it up with Walt Whitman's quote from "The Open Road", The 1975 are surely upto something that is going to awe us.

All change is inevitable, and this one is undoubtedly for the best.

The 1975 Will Always Be My Most Dearest Band.

P.S: I also see an indirect jibe at NME in the picture tweeted.
(Typical Matty)
