Clayton Hogermeer, The Boy With A Heart.

II  When you almost instantaneously fall in love with a piece of art  II

Whether it's the first line to a book, a gentle riff to the start of a song or just a captivating visual art, the realization that you've been immediately under the spell of the artist's creation, is something that I truly admire.

When I first heard "The Boy With A Heart", I was not only captivated for it's groovy, upbeat tunes, but also the beautiful lyrics that accompany it. The words simply transfigure into a motion picture in your head.

The Boy With A Heart

The beauty of Clayton Hogermeer is that his lyrics do not subscribe to the general demand of  masses, but something that he truly believes in. A charismatic bum from Mumbai who believes in humanity and all that it holds, his organic lyrics truly resonates his soul.

Skies Of Gold is another song that speaks about how humans are prisoners bound by the chains of conformity. Only if they could chase something that would add more value to their life (outside their selfish life), than their regular produce-consume way of living, our existence would be governed by philanthropy and not politics.

I truly hope his music gets more recognition in the near future, cause he is simply, simply amazing.

Grand Affection,
Nikita Infantcia.
