Well, I haven't done *month* Favorites since, let me see, nearly a year, so I decided to do one now.
Top 10 Songs:
1) Two Fingers- Jake Bugg
I can never ever ever get bored of this song. Bugg to the rescue.
2)Robbers- The 1975
I even love the cover of the same by Tyler Nugnet. The acoustic twist to the song, is truly amazing.
3)Sugar- Maroon 5
The only thing I can say is " Adam Lavine, please crash my wedding too"
4)Running On Faith- Eric Clapton.
Some Blues to get rid of the blues.
5) Bad Kids- Black Lips
This is one energizing song you could wake up to dancing like the 70's disco style. It reminds me of the jive kinda music.
6) Hazey Jane II- Acoustic Cover By Jake Bugg
Although the original artist of this song is Nick Drake, I love the Jake Bugg version more.
7)Winter Lady- Leonard Cohen
This song has to end up in my playlist, maybe it's the lyrics or Cohen's voice.
8) Listen To The Man- George Ezra
How on earth, does this 21 year old have such a deep voice? When I made my mum hear the song, she actually thought it was a man in his 40's singing. Hats off to Ezra.
9)Sweet Disposition- The Temper Trap
I remember listening to this song back in 2011, was my favourite back then, until I heard it in "500 Days Of Summer" recently, and it has been on replay since then.
10) Giving Up The Gun-Vampire Weekend
Really love the video of this song, the coach reminds of Snoop Dogg, Snoop lion or whatever he is known now.
MOVIE OF THE MONTH;
500 Days Of Summer:
This is one Rom-Com which doesn't have the most cliched ending. It's a very adorable movie, and the lead actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt reminds me of Pharrell Williams. ( even his dressing style resembles Pharrell or maybe it's the other way round). The soundtracks for this movie are absolutely amazing.
If you're just lazing around this summer, do watch this movie.
